NTR second film student number one completes fifteen years yesterday. This movie was the debut film of India's most successful director SS Rajamouli. After Student number one, they were together for two blockbuster films Simhadri and Yamadonga. They both remembered their experiences while movie shooting.

Rajamouli Tweets on Student No 1 movie:

15 years since my debut as a director. 25 years since I joined as an editing assistant. Sounds a long time ago. Doesn't feel like it though.
Me and Tarak were put up in the same room in Switzerland. My bed time was 9. He used to watch TV till 12. That too some agricultural program. Which was the only channel that was telecast. That too in some Swiss dialect. Curse him even now when I think of it. I credit the success of Student no.1 largely to Pridhiviteja's script and MM Keeravaani's music. You can see Tarak's good work in few scenes but he was still budding as an actor. My direction was very amateurish at its best except maybe for the interval sequence. When we went for the Vijaya yathra I saw how people started embracing and accepting Tarak. Masses and even old people used to throng to see this 19 year old boy. That was quite an experience. All of us, new comers, who were associated with the film are quite lucky to get that chance.

Jr NTR Won Two Awards for "Star as a Singing Sensation"

Young Tiger Ntr is known for acting and dialogues, he recently received Cinemaa best actor award for his honest performance in Temper movie which was directed by Puri Jagannath. Now he is showing is power with his vocal. He did sing two songs in this year, one was for Nannaku Prematho and and another one for Kannada song Geleya Geleya. Tarak won two awards for "Star as a Singing Sensation" in both Telugu and Kannada languages in Mirchi Music Awards South. He got both language awards for Follow Follow and Geleya songs.
